On Saturday 15 March Q hosted a special South By Southwest party at the Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas. Put together with the aim of showcasing the best in rising British talent, the bill featured Lightspeed Champion, These New Puritans, Kate Nash and The Pigeon Detectives. Lightspeed Champion - “This is a song about prostitution – enjoy your food,” quipped Hynes at one point during his brief-but-engaging acoustic set.
